About Sonia Macfarlane
In 2005 Sonia returned to New Zealand from the United Kingdom where she obtained a taste for the property industry. Prior to her travels, Sonia lived in different areas of Auckland for 8 years, but never forgets she is a "true Waikato girl". Five years on Sonia is consistently achieving top 150 status in Ray White NZ and continues to be one of the highest achievers in her office. Every day is as enjoyable as the first!
Having travelled to many places in the United Kingdom, Europe, Middle East and America, Sonia has a greater understanding of different cultures, including their behaviours and way of life. As a local resident, this knowledge is priceless when working with the many cultures we have in our area.
Before joining real estate, Sonia worked for 10 years as a Personal Assistant in industries such as Debt Collection, Credit Reporting, FMCG and Asset Management. In these roles Sonia worked with Sales Managers and their Teams and gained major exposure to sales and marketing. This experience coupled with good time management and organisational skills has made Sonia good at what she does.
As a home owner herself, Sonia knows the pressures and emotions involved in buying and selling a home, and has an understanding of the service a seller and purchaser want and require. With a background in sales, marketing and customer service, it is Sonia's commitment to you to provide a friendly, professional service, keeping all parties informed every step of the way.
Outside of real estate Sonia has an interest in netball, rugby, horse racing and travel. Four times a week you will also see Sonia working out at the Panmure YMCA pools and gym.
